Lisa Summerfield

Hi there I’m Lisa! I have worked at Wigmore Vets since 2003, I joined here as a Receptionist and in 2012 I moved in to the Management Team as Practice Manager.

This is my first job working with animals as I previously worked in accountancy and I must say it is the best career move I could have made! It can be great fun working here but of course, there are sad times too, when a pet we know well comes to the end of their life.  I thoroughly enjoy managing and supporting the amazing Team we have here at Wigmore.

Since working here I have completed and passed a Pet Nutrition Councillor course, obtained an NVQ Level 2 in Animal Care and completed various Leadership courses. I have had various pets over the years but currently my spare time is mainly taken up by my 2 daughters Erin and Orla.
